This school group of 14 classrooms is a rare example of a passive bioclimatic design adapted to the humid tropical climate for a teaching building. Guided by the HQE standard, the design is based on the generalisation of through ventilation and natural lighting of the premises. The multiple solar protections complete the photovoltaic climatic cover forming a shade, but the primary environmental quality of the project lies in the generalized use of wood for the structure and cladding. In addition to the storage of CO² and resistance to climatic aggressions, its low inertia fully participates in the hygrothermal comfort of the project.
